A little knowledge about the shower cabin

1. Waterproof

2. Glass and shower curtain
There is no standard answer to the question of choosing a glass partition or using a shower curtain. Everyone has their own preferences. Some people think that the glass is good, the dry and wet separation is more thorough, and the water will not run around; some people think that the shower curtain is good, cheap and easy to clean, and does not take up space.
3. Drainage
Regarding the drainage of the shower cabin, there are two approaches. One is the more common tile laying. The most important thing is that the overall tile should be sloped towards the floor drain. This general tile laying mason has experience.
There is another kind you may have seen in the bathroom of the hotel. A piece of stone is laid in the middle of the shower room. There is a slit on the stone as a diversion groove, and the surrounding is recessed for drainage. The floor drain should be the lowest point.
4. Water blocking
Whether it is a glass partition or a shower curtain, I personally think that water retaining strips are needed. Even if a shower curtain is used, the water retaining strip can solve a large part of the problem of water overflow, and to a certain extent, keep the ground in other parts of the bathroom dry.
There are generally two ways of water retaining strips, one is self-built, which is generally a shower curtain, and it is more picky, suitable for pastoral, Mediterranean and other styles.
Another is to directly buy the finished water retaining strip, which is generally made of artificial stone or other materials. This is basically used for the partition of the shower cabin. It is best to bury the tile in the middle of the tile when laying the tile, so that the water blocking effect will be better. If it is glued to the tile with glass glue later, it may seep water for a long time.
